What it is
A room with a standard.
Everyone arrives prepared
The week’s question and its reading go out in advance. Two to four sources, never more, always primary where a primary exists. If you did not read it, you can listen, and that is a fine week to have.
Claims get cited or dropped
A number without a source and a year is not an argument. This is the single rule that makes the room worth being in, and it is enforced on everyone including the person running it.
The session produces something
Every meeting ends with a written output. A position, a design note, a list of open questions, or an honest record that the group could not agree and why.

Ninety minutes, same time every week, recorded from the top. Members get the audio and the written output. A portion of each season is released publicly.

Mon
The question and the reading
One question, phrased so it can actually be answered. Not “do we deserve reparations,” but “what documentary standard should establish descent, and what happens to families whose records burned?” The reading arrives with it.

The live session
Fifteen minutes of framing, sixty of open argument, fifteen to write the output. Members can speak. Guests are brought in when the question needs someone who has actually done the thing, whether that is a genealogist, a municipal finance officer or a civil rights litigator.

The record
Edited audio, the written output, and every source used goes into the members archive with a citation and a date. Over time that archive becomes the thing members stay for.

OUR NATION mixes academic rigor with blue collar practicality, street level realism, religious and secular ethics, the hard won insight of reformed people, and the pattern recognition of those who have travelled. That spread is deliberate. It is what stops a room from agreeing with itself into irrelevance.

Economic Architecture
Capital formation, membership dues and land-fund structure, cooperative enterprise design, multiple income streams, and transparent financial reporting members can actually audit.
Working group 03
Education & Culture
Living Key curriculum design, certification standards, cohort delivery, heritage recovery methods, and how cultural continuity gets taught rather than assumed.

Health & Safety
Physical and mental wellness under sustained stress, multi-generational family structures, elder care and elder social space, mutual aid, and community safety design.
Working group 05
Governance & Legal
Cooperative bylaws, covenants, membership agreements, board structure, dispute resolution, and staying entirely inside United States law at every step.
Working group 06
Alliances & Capital
Relationships with family offices, impact funds, church networks, academic partners and aligned high net worth individuals, structured as mutual benefit rather than dependency.

Narrative & Media
The podcast, the documentary series, the explainer content, and the discipline of arguing from sources in public without overstating a number.
Cadence
What the groups produce
Quarterly virtual summits and one annual in person gathering in the South. Output is quarterly briefing papers, an annual update to the Nation Plan of Action, and pilot project recommendations that carry a budget and a success metric.
Builder and Founder members nominate and elect rotating advisors. A core facilitation team keeps continuity between cycles. All analysis stays educational and strategic. Legal, tax and investment questions are referred to licensed professionals.

- Anyone who wants a certified lineage verification. We are not a genealogy service and we do not certify descent.
- Anyone who cannot sit in a room where their strongest belief gets challenged with a citation.
- Anyone who wants to argue about who is and is not Black enough to belong. That conversation happens somewhere else.

Part of it. Members get every session plus the written output and the source archive. A selected portion of each season is released publicly, because the argument is not much use if it never leaves the room.
No. Plenty of people will get more out of listening carefully for a season than out of talking in week one. The only expectation is that when you do make a claim, you can say where it came from.
No, and be careful with anyone who says they can. There is no federal reparations program to file a claim against. H.R. 40 would create a study commission, not a payment. We teach the public record and we do not certify anyone’s descent.
You have to take the subject seriously and argue in good faith. Beyond that, a room where everyone already agrees produces nothing worth recording.
